Synopsis
Whilst undergoing test in a clinic for a mysterious and debilitating illness, the author felt a sudden compulsion to try his hand at a 'spot of poetry'. Seventeen months later, there were 303 poems in his slip file - a file which accompanies him wherever he travels. The 'spot of poetry; became a fully fledged obsession for him.
