Phoenix19 guardian.co.uk Fri 19 October 2012
Once again the cocky 13 year old finds herself once again surrounded by a mystery. Strange, mysterious things have been happening in Twinford and Ruby is determined to find out whats going on.
A weird, crazy person is following her. Birds and sea life are flocking inland, pirates are attacking the boats on the sea and some very odd shipping is going on.
''Spectrum'', Ruby's spy agency are set on the case to find out who is causing all of these mysterious puzzles.
But there are other problems are going on. Clancy Crew, Ruby's best friend is afraid of the water and is determined not to go to the swim meet, she has a good reason to be afraid of the water. Strange noises are being heard and Ruby questions herself endlessly ''How is it all connected?''
In short it's an AMAZING book which will keep you hooked until the very end. If i had to rate it it would be 9.5 out of 10 because it is an awesome book but it could be a bit better if it wasn't partly in code.
